Ivy Manor
The Ivy Manor opened its doors on April 27th, 1995. Owner Janet Schitter has been in the floral industry for 38 years. She worked five years at a hometown florist before moving to Louisville, KY in 1984. While there she was an assistant manager for one of Kentucky’s largest floral shops. After three years there she and two of her floral design friends opened a shop in St. Matthews, KY ( Louisville ).
Returning home 10 years later, Janet found a most perfect location downtown and a wonderful old 1904 house to fix up and turn into her dream floral/design store. After two months of hard work, The Ivy Manor was born.
